Dubai Airport Car Rental Handover Checklist
A clear airport handover plan reduces uncertainty after a flight. Agree the details in writing rather than relying on a generic “airport pickup” selection.

Before departure
Share the airport, terminal, arrival date and expected time. Confirm how to contact the handover team and what happens if the flight changes. Ask for the meeting-point instructions and any parking or waiting charges.
After arrival
Complete arrival formalities and collect your bags before heading to the agreed meeting point. Follow airport traffic and parking rules. If the location or timing changes, confirm the new arrangement rather than assuming the car will wait indefinitely.
At the vehicle
Review the agreement, inspection record, fuel level and kilometre reading. Check that the actual car and accessories match what was agreed. Keep any contact and incident-reporting details accessible.
Planning departure day
Allow time for refuelling if required, inspection and the trip to your terminal. Confirm who collects the vehicle, where it should be left and how you receive a return record.
