Make arrival less rushed by confirming the terminal, meeting point, documents and rental handover arrangements.
Share the correct arrival details
Check the airport and terminal shown on your travel booking. Allow time for arrival formalities, collecting bags and reaching the agreed meeting point. If your plans change, contact the rental company using the contact information provided with your confirmed agreement.
Confirm the meeting point and any charges
An airport name in a location selector is a preference, not a confirmed delivery arrangement. Ask for the exact handover location, operating hours, contact person and any location or out-of-hours charges. Do not assume that selecting airport pickup automatically includes a delivery service.
Prepare documents and inspect the vehicle
Ask which original identity and driving documents are required for your residency status and licence origin. Have the agreed documents ready and allow time to inspect the vehicle. Record the condition, fuel level, distance reading and supplied accessories together.

Plan the return before departure day
Confirm where and when to return the car, how long the process may take and how it fits your flight schedule. Keep enough time for the handover and your airport journey. Different return locations and timing changes should be agreed separately.
