Duration, total and mileage
Confirm the exact start and end times and the number of days covered by the package. Ask for the complete rental amount and the mileage allowance for that period. Check the extra-kilometre rate and the cost of any unlimited option, rather than assuming a monthly package removes mileage limits.
Documents, insurance and deposit arrangements
Ask which driving and identity documents you must present, and whether your licence meets the rental requirements. Review the insurance cover and any excess or exclusions. Confirm the deposit amount, accepted payment method and the agreed release process before paying.
Maintenance and support during the rental
For a longer rental, ask who to contact if a service reminder, tyre issue or warning light appears. Agree how approved maintenance and breakdown support are handled. Do not assume replacement cars, roadside services or maintenance costs are included without written confirmation.
Changes, extensions and the final return
Confirm how to extend the rental or change your return date, and whether early return changes the agreed price. Record the return location, time, fuel policy and vehicle-condition process. Keep the agreement and handover records so both sides can refer to the same information.
