Enjoy an open-top drive without overlooking weather, luggage space or the practical details of your rental.
Plan around weather and comfort
An open-top car can make a relaxed drive feel special, but comfort depends on the conditions. Consider heat, sunlight and wind, and use the roof when that is more comfortable. Choose your route and timing around safe, attentive driving rather than treating every journey as a sightseeing stop.
Check the roof and luggage arrangement
Ask for a demonstration of the roof controls at handover. Confirm the space available for bags with the roof in each position, and check the number of usable seats on the specific vehicle. Never assume a convertible has the same luggage capacity as its closed-roof counterpart.

Give the handover inspection enough time
Record the condition of the bodywork, wheels, interior and roof together with the rental company. Check that supplied controls and accessories work, and keep the agreed inspection record. Ask who to contact if a warning light or roof issue appears during the rental.
Confirm the details before booking
Review the total, mileage option, insurance and return arrangements. The 2025 BMW 430i Convertible on this staging site uses a test booking calendar. A successful test payment is not a real vehicle reservation.
